The Miami-based security & fire watch firm today announced a new senior-level position to help develop and implement a philanthropic strategy and operational management system for directing company profits to provide free security services to women and children.
To accomplish the mission of giving where it is most needed, the new VP of Philanthropy will investigate leads of missing teens, reported kidnappings, and screen reports to the Kingsman (nonprofit wing of USPA Nationwide Security) tips email system. The VP will be responsible for allocating funds to perform rescues in the USA and abroad. The Kingsman division just wrapped up 3 months of performing evacuations of women and children who were trapped in the war zone of Ukraine.
Daniel Manning, the firm’s CEO, established the new VP position as a way to make sure the company’s hard-earned profits are being utilized in the most effective manner. Manning has donated $50k of his own salary this year, in addition to company profits, to aid the operation in Ukraine as well as to assist with missing teen cases in the USA.
As covered by Yahoo News just last week, USPA’s Kingsman returned home from Ukraine to redirect their efforts back to local neighborhoods in the USA. Created in 2005 by Michael Evans, USPA’s founder and retired CEO, Kingsman serves a very particular demographic; women and children. Kingsman is non-partisan and not affiliated with any government agency. “We serve our chosen demographic without ever asking for their voter ID cards and passports – they’re human and that’s all we care about,” said Manning.
Manning plans to appoint the new VP in early July.
