Born in Baltimore and raised in Gary, IN, Tre Tala has spent most of his life honing his craft as a musician. As a young man growing up without his parents, he found guidance in the classic Soul of Michael Jackson and R. Kelly. As he grew up, he began to embrace hip-hop, collaborating with a diverse cast of artists and always sharpening his natural storytelling ability.
Eventually, his talents took him to Full Sail University, where he earned a degree in Music Business, all while maintaining a steady schedule of recordings and performances. That mixture of life experience, musicianship, and business savvy has set Tre on the road to inevitable success.
Tre’s two latest singles are his finest work to date. ‘Double Cross,’ produced by Stobbsyy Beats, features a virtuosic vocal performance, revealing Tre’s love of vintage R&B. As a rapper, his style is intricate and aggressive, full of biblical references and instantly quotable lyrics. The track’s two-minute runtime is packed with content and demands instant re-listening.
‘Overstand Me,’ feat. Lex The Flex and produced by Kenneth T, shows off another side of Tre’s skillset. Tre offers an honest assessment of his unorthodox upbringing, reflecting on how his family history has shaped him into the artist he is today. Tre is not afraid to dig deep, as he turns his personal experiences into a powerful track with a near-universal message. Tre establishes himself as a versatile artist with unlimited potential.
After a lifetime’s worth of hard work, Tre is finally seeing the fruits of his labor. With a steady stream of new content expected in 2022 and beyond, he is well on his way toward becoming a mainstay in modern hip-hop.
