Reno Davis: Why You Need to Look the Part if You Want to Be Number One

Published on October 14, 2022

Bill Gates loves to wear khaki pants as he hits the streets. Keanu Reeves loves nothing better than a tee and jeans. Jennifer Lawrence is happy enough in a tracksuit. That’s great for some, but real estate extraordinaire and social media influencer Reno Davis believes that a significant part of success is to look the part.

As a real estate wholesaler, Reno knows how important it is to stand out and how important first impressions are. He believes that if you succeed at anything in life, you must look good. There’s no point in being at the top if you don’t have the style to match it.

“Your appearance is everything,” he says.

“If you walk into a business meeting and interact with people, you can’t have holes in your shirt. You have to look at the part. I feel most comfortable in designer clothes – it helps me carry myself as a professional – so I aim to be stylish.”

And although he’s just 22 years old, Reno shows the proof is in the pudding. Just a few years ago, he was a landscaper covered in dirt and mud daily, earning $20 an hour. He spent his nights dreaming about being self-employed and knowing there was something bigger and better awaiting him.

Today, he wears Dior and Dolce, Burberry and Gucci – just to name a few – as he runs his successful real estate business in Tampa, Florida. Reno’s top-brand clothing gives his clients a good impression of him and gives him a unique brand that’s hard to miss. He is built to be the center of attention, and thanks to his eye-catching wardrobe, he is always the best-dressed person in the room.

It not only works for his real estate clients, either. He also has over 4 million social media followers who tune in to see what his latest combination outfit includes.

Through this social media presence that he’s getting noticed by everyone – whether they’re looking for help selling a property or fashion advice. He recently went viral after being photographed wearing a $5,000 Dior outfit at a Miami Heat game.

“What you wear feeds into self-confidence, which feeds into success. When you look good, you feel good.”

And scientific evidence supports this. Studies have found that putting on a suit or dressing up can boost your mood, help you negotiate better, increase your focus, and even make you feel more powerful.

Reno Davis admits standing out from the crowd is a positive, particularly in the competitive real estate market. But he states, “you get what you pay for, and I’m all about quality.” His $40,000+ wardrobe is evidence of that.

But don’t get him wrong. It’s not all suits and ties for Reno Davis. He also loves lounging around in his tracksuit, though the Palm Angels branding brings a hefty price tag.

“I probably have every color of Palm Angels’ tracksuits,” he says. “They’re comfortable and always look fresh no matter the occasion.”

Whatever he is wearing, the most important thing for Reno is that he’s enjoying the lifestyle he’s worked so hard for.

“If you work hard, you should get what you deserve.”
