For 50 years the Film Society of Lincoln Center has been dedicated to elevating the art of film. Here are the best dressed for this momentous event!
Dee Rees
Filmmaker Dee Rees opted for a black suit, but there was nothing basic about her look. A black velvet tuxedo jacket with a dress shirt that had a fun and fresh take on a Victorian collar. And instead of a standard slack, her pants finished with a flare. Designer, unknown.
Zoe Kazan
Zoe always balances being on-trend while giving a nod to style generations from past generations. Staying true to form, she wore a ladylike Miu Miu Pre-Fall 2019 floral shirt dress with a prairie-inspired collar. No tights and a retro kitten heel. This is one of those dresses you can make work for almost any occasion.
Tilda Swinton
Actress Tilda’s look is straight off Chanel’s Spring 2019 runway collection. A black coat dress with a retro feel. This was one of the most talked-about looks of the evening, showing that at almost 60 years old, this beauty still turns heads.
Taylor Re Lynn
Several film producers were present at the anniversary gala but none looked more glamorous than Taylor. She wore a black asymmetric, one-shoulder Ralph Lauren gown with a faux-cape. The finished look is effortless chic.
