QualiZeal CEO Signs QA Deal With Complia Health Brushing Legal Concerns Aside

Published on October 13, 2022

QualiZeal, a fast-growing and leading digital Quality Engineering solutions provider, announced a new quality assurance partnership services deal with Complia Health to accelerate their automation, improve testing maturity, and provide best-in-class quality processes to help advance Complia Health’s digital transformation initiatives.

“We’re honored to have been selected by Complia Health to help transform their Quality Assurance initiatives and to support their automation goals to achieve better business outcomes,” says Ashwin Bakshi, SVP, QualiZeal.

“Our strategic quality assurance deal with QualiZeal will help drive IT efficiency and foster quality outcomes through a high degree of mature test processes and automation,” adds Paul Minton, SVP of Product Management at Complia Health.

Business so far continuing normally

This announcement comes just a few weeks after QualiZeal was issued a temporary restraining order by Dallas County Court related to a lawsuit contending that QualiZeal’s employees misused confidential information of Cigniti, violating non-solicitation agreements and diverting clients to QualiZeal while they were still employed with Cigniti.

While the court named Pradeep Govindasamy (CEO), Kalyana Rao Konda (Advisor), and Doug Hall (VP of Business Development), it also added Ashwin Bakshi (Quality Engineering Leader), Kote Bipilli (SVP, Client Success), Ramanathan Ponnusamy (Quality Engineering Leader), the Company continues to add more clients in a show of defiance.

Despite the court granting an injunction based on digital evidence collected from the former employee’s laptops and testimonies, QualiZeal has denied any wrongdoing. The injunction prohibits QualiZeal from accepting any business from current clients or prospects of Cigniti. QualiZeal has filed an appeal stating if the injunction remains, they will lose their revenue stream and be unable to litigate the case and pay their employees.

What do employees think of QualiZeal?

QualiZeal is rated 4.7 out of 5, based on 8 reviews by employees on AmbitionBox and 4.8 stars on Glassdoor. Despite the court holding against QualiZeal and ordering the company to cease soliciting clients of Cigniti, an appeal hearing date has not been set yet.

QualiZeal rejects that all its clients originate from Cigniti, stipulating in court documents that only 10 of their 32 clients were at any time clients of Cigniti, representing under 35% of the company’s revenue.
