Justin Liwen, at the ripe ape of just 18 years old, has displayed how crucial forward thinking is to modern entrepreneurship. Liwen is the CEO of Feuhle Media LLC, a digital marketing agency that specializes in public relations and digital scaling. He also founded Title Chain Technologies, a software company that develops innovative Web3 applications for the real estate industry. Soon releasing an all-in-one platform to streamline the home buying process while following legal procedures nationwide.
Liwen’s journey to entrepreneurship started at a young age. Growing up in a rural area of Virginia, he spent a significant amount of time on mindlessly scrolling on his phone. It was during this time that he discovered the lucrative potential of social media and decided to start his own digital marketing agency. At the age of 16, he founded Feuhle Media LLC, and over the years, he has helped creators and musicians with an already large platform scale it even further.
Liwen achieved this by studying and exploiting the TikTok algorithm, then further scaling it through automation. By partnering with and helping these big platform creators, Liwen found himself amassing over 190,000 Instagram followers. He did this by simply providing good work and taking promotion for less monetary compensation so he could further expand his personal brand.
However, Liwen saw his marketing agency as a good source of capital and not necessarily the company that’ll have the significant impact he wants. Stating “Crypto has always been interesting to me, but blindly trusting that ‘x’ coin will go to the moon is a risk I’m not willing to take.” This is when Liwen started allocated more of his time to research and development, taking a step back from direct sales to build Title Chain Technologies. Liwen saw tons of potential with blockchain technology itself, but little to no value in 99% of the cryptocurrencies available. Stating “Understanding the integration of blockchain technology without the use of cryptocurrencies was key, that’s when I knew I struck gold.”
Liwen felt that he bit off more than he could chew with blockchain development. Noting Amazon Web Services, Amazon Blockchain hosting, Virtual Private Cloud networks, and Solidity code are just a few tools he had to learn to even have a shot of his platform working. While also not wanting to bring on any additional help on the project, due to possible theft. This is where Liwen stands out from the average 18-year-old, it’s the entrepreneurial drive to go seek out knowledge, and create what he believes in. Teaching himself how to utilize this very new technology, all from what’s on the internet, is a very impressive feat to accomplish.
The entrepreneurial career is for sure not fitting to all, but it is possible to many. Liwen went from a normal teenager clueless about his future to a driven businessman within a matter of weeks. He’s an exemplary case of modern entrepreneurship, straying away from what’s already being done to what doesn’t exist.
