Meet Dr. Mike Hart: The Physician Changing Lives Through Medical Cannabis

Published on June 08, 2022

The Canadian medical cannabis industry has grown rapidly since its legalization in 2018. This was followed by a wave of cannabis legalization across a number of European nations, as the herb has proved to have numerous health benefits. As a result, medical cannabis has become a regular prescription for patients with many health conditions. Private individuals in Canada are currently able to obtain cannabis-based therapeutic treatments for a variety of ailments.

Dr. Mike Hart, an experienced physician, highlights these benefits to include alleviating neuropathic pain, vomiting, chemotherapy-induced nausea, and epilepsy. Dr. Hart is a renowned family physician. He has vast experience with an odd combination of skills, a wide knowledge base in cannabis, psychedelics, nutrition, longevity, strength training, stock trading, and building companies.

Dr. Hart is the founder and owner of ReadyToGo Clinic, a top cannabis-focused practice based in London, Ontario. Dr. Hart is also the chief operating officer of Optimind Pharma, a publicly-traded company. His industry experience has seen him be nominated to sit on the scientific board of Predict Medix, an AI healthcare company.

A sector leader, Dr. Hart was the first physician in London to set up a cannabis clinic and was published for his work in 2019. In addition to prescribing cannabis, Dr. Hart is an expert on using ketamine for mental health issues and has been twice published for his work.

Throughout his career, Dr. Hart has had the opportunity to connect with and have many discussions with patients, professional athletes, and celebrities about his firm belief and passion for the effectiveness of plant-based medicine in combination with a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Mike hosts the popular “Hart2Heart” podcast and was featured on Joe Rogan’s podcast in 2019. He leads a very healthy lifestyle; he lifts weight, runs, and practices mixed martial arts 6–7 days a week while maintaining a strict diet.

“My goal is to provide an intimate, discussion-based platform with a ‘real-talk’ essence that not only imparts knowledge to the listener but also offers a chance to connect on a more intimate level with guests and listeners,” says Dr. Hart.

To everyone working hard to bring their dreams to life, Dr. Hart encourages you to continue putting in the hard work and never giving up. The best gift you can grant yourself is being true to yourself, following your passions, and staying dedicated to your goals. Some people might never believe in you, but that should never stop you from pursuing your dreams. More importantly, never feel sorry for yourself; instead, convert the challenges and hurdles into lessons to shape and improve your future.

A passionate proponent of mental health, Dr. Hart envisions the space growing and evolving rapidly over the next decade. He believes psychedelics will be at the forefront as more people continue to combine it with exercise, stoic philosophy, and supplements. This will be a significant boost for the swiftly growing industry.

Dr. Hart also believes that the recent modifications to Canada’s medicinal cannabis legislation have piqued interest in the financial potential for Canadian farmers and scientists in governed cannabis cultivation as some cannabis farmers are driven by the desire to gain from the attractive profit margins offered by the plant.
