Lucas ‘LB’ Berry – the Versatile Entrepreneur Making a Place for Himself in the Music Business

Published on January 15, 2021

After acquiring a BSBA in Management, Leadership and Innovation from The McDonough School of Business in Georgetown University – with a minor concentration in economics and business – Lucas ‘LB’ Berry worked in social media marketing and branding before carving his own entrepreneurial path.

In 2018, Berry took the plunge and founded his first company: LB enterprises – a managing, marketing, and investment company that has been taking the world by storm.

As a freelance marketing contractor for Warner Music Group – the American multinational entertainment and record label conglomerate – LB has had some incredible opportunities to work with artists to further their brand presence, as well as to help them implement strategic financial budgets to foster the growth of their music careers.

In collaboration with Warner Music Group, LB has helped to grow the rising-star rapper Shordie Shordie, whose popularity as a hip-hop artist has skyrocketed over the last few years.

As well as earning over 150 million streams on Spotify, Shordie Shordie has also had one of his albums certified platinum – success, which he has achieved with the help of LB and the Warner Music Group.

In 2021, LB expects to help springboard Shordie Shordie to even greater success, as he is expected to earn even more plaques for his music after the artist drops his latest project in collaboration with renowned record producer, songwriter, and DJ: Murda Beatz.

As part of his work with Shordie Shordie, LB was made responsible for the booking and setting up of three full music tours, proving the versatility of his skills as more than just a marketer and manager.

So, it might come as no surprise that LB has already branched out of the music world, having begun several new business ventures in the last year.

In 2020, LB expanded his entrepreneurial horizons, launching a private driving company – 1Chauffeur – which will roll out sprinter van options in 2021, as a result of the business’ initial success in 2020.

Additionally, this year LB will be partnering with the number one independent booking agency in the US – MAC Agency, a tour booking and artist merchandise agency affiliated with hip-hop artists such as NBA YoungBoy and DaBaby – as he expands his reach in the music industry.

Moreover, as a result of his aptitude and enjoyment of the music biz, Lucas ‘LB’ Berry jumped on the opportunity to become more involved in music and entertainment, resultantly buying a 4000sf warehouse to make his ambitions a reality.

In 2021, LB plans to convert the space into a two-tiered recording space housing two separate industry-level recording studios, in addition to a number of offices, a video production space, a gamer streaming room, a lounge, and an indoor basketball court.
