Gearing up for the release of his debut EP “321”, actor/singer/songwriter Julian Bones has just released his debut song and music video for “Sabotage”.

Boasting a smooth yet edgy rap/sung vocal performance, and slick, dance-worthy production, the almost anthemic track meets the protagonist the very moment a “friends with benefits” situation goes awry – when the other party suddenly catches feelings.

Julian expresses in his “Julian’s Lyric” video, “…it’s that very moment you find out everything is kind of weird now…it’s not the same anymore… maybe they sent you a certain type of text…it’s kind of awkward and you kind of feel you have to bring back the reigns a little bit.”

He later mentions, “It’s also a moment of self-reflection” and goes on to urge listeners to maybe unpack their own backstory as to why (if) they have ever been afraid of commitment or self-sabotaged possibly good “relationships”.

Hailing from the South Side of Chicago and now residing in New York City, Julian is happy to finally be stepping into his music zone. His goal is to turn relatable experiences into catchy, memorable songs that stick with you while exploring his artistry. With his eclectic influences spanning Pop, R&B, Hip Hop, Rock, Classical & more, we have no doubt he has the tools to do just that.

“Sabotage” is now streaming on all digital platforms, while the fun and eye-catching accompanying music video is already making waves on YouTube.
