Jason Ng Times Realty Talks on Real Estate Lessons

Published on January 13, 2022

Jason Ng is the owner of Times Realty in Vancouver, Canada and he has been active in the real estate business for the greater part of his life.

He recalls growing up watching his father make an impact in the real estate sector and he wanted to follow in his footsteps, which is why he went on to become a successful realtor in his own right.

Managing Times Realty has been no easy task for Jason Ng, but with hundreds of satisfied clients, it’s all worth the effort.

By watching his own father, Jason Ng says he was able to learn the tricks of the trade and go on to open and manage a series of successful real estate operations.

In today’s interview, Jason Ng has agreed to share the lessons learned and takeaways acquired from working in the real estate industry.

Before we get started, Jason Ng says we need to delve into his past to learn about where his journey started – it was 1988 when the Ng family immigrated from Hong Kong to set up their own real estate business in Canada.

Vancouver happened to be a great decision for immigration, because it was there that saw an influx of Chinese immigrants, and many became the clientele of the Ng family.

You could say the Ng family got lucky, but the truth is that it was careful decision-making and relentless hard work that got the Ngs where they are today, and this is exactly what has allowed Jason Ng to continue the family legacy.

“My sister and I started helping our parents from the very beginning,” says Jason Ng.

He remembers becoming the main driver for his parents and taking them to and from real estate deals. By helping his parents out, Jasn Ng says he was able to witness how deals were carried out from an early age. He learned the ins and outs of the business, and it helped him forge a successful career.

A few things that Jason Ng learned as a realtor are that commitment and sincerity are both important traits if you want to become successful at what you do. Jason Ng’s parents showed both of these traits, and it allowed them to excel at what they do.

Another element that has helped Jason Ng become successful both in his real estate practice and in managing times realty is his commitment to making the best decisions for his clients.

“I treat my clients’ decisions like my own, because I know it will affect their lives for years to come.
