Interview With Kohnosuke Yamada, a 19-Year-Old Founder of Innovative Media and Talent Company Atrax Management

It’s a pleasure having you here with us Kohnosuke. Let’s not waste any time, so what influenced you to establish this business?

Well, it all started in the summer of 2018. After I left my company, (disclosed for legal reasons) I decided to venture out in the management industry, realizing the importance of having connections with celebrities and influencers from my previous business experiences.

Getting everything operating was quite a hassle, as most people in Hollywood know, the entertainment industry is full of hustlers and unreliable individuals. After contacting numerous actors, models, and athletes I knew from the past, I had a successful conversion rate of about 20%. Most of them believed in the company but felt it was too early in the stage to invest their time in it. This hurt me a bit, not because they denied my request, but solely cause I knew they were outright wrong.

Luckily to my favor, during the time, Tik Tok was becoming a huge trend, and I out of many others happened to have friends that were so-called “famous” and “popular” on the app. My friends immediately hopped on board, and using my resources, I started contacting various small-mid-sized businesses around my area. Nonetheless, shortly after a couple of phone calls, I ended up scoring my first deal with a global sports drink company, Bai. While most of the information about the meeting is disclosed, what I can say is that it did not take much convincing.

Where are you located?

Our HQ’s are in Tokyo, Japan, and Los Angeles, California. We have the benefits of LA’s fast-moving culture, with various opportunities surrounding us 24/7. Tokyo exposes us to a whole new society full of innovators and global trendsetters. Having headquarters in these cities gives us the advantage to lead the entertainment industry globally.

What’s the concept?

Well it’s fairly simple. From my experience working throughout different industries in the past, I was able to understand a common issue that many businesses failed to execute. More specifically, a significant portion of companies often neglect the fact that while they can distribute the best products and services in the world, without a strong platform or source to acquire recognition, it’s merely impossible to succeed. Therefore, while our platform’s focus is based on providing various notable figures (Athletes, Influencers, Models, etc) with networking opportunities, sponsorships, and collaborations, the concept was originally created to help businesses expose their brand and products.

Important tools we have:

  • Several connections with businesses in most industries
  • HQ’s in Top Areas
  • Diverse Clientele: While we also provide our services to all notable figures, by focusing our target on the current boom in areas like TikTok, Youtube, Triller, and Instagram, we are able to expose our platform to a much bigger audience
  • Most importantly, a strong team with knowledge in many different backgrounds

What’s next?

While I have many exciting things planned for the near future, something I’d like to talk about is my new initiative regarding fashion shows focused on empowering social justice. In addition, we are also launching an online e-magazine, a new project of mine concentrated on recognizing issues such as climate change, animal abuse, gender rights, and racism.

Any tips for aspiring entrepreneurs?

Sure why not. I’ll keep it short and sweet since I know most people don’t have all day to spend reading this article.

  1. First and foremost, write down your goals and make sure to have a specific deadline for each one
  2. Read books! It helps relax your mind while educating yourself on different topics
  3. Find a key role model, and observe their habits.
