HMI Group Announces Expansion Into Digital Healthcare Platform

With the rise of technology and the advancement in customer-centered software, more industries are moving online. Transport, for example, is now dominated by Uber, and food delivery services by apps such as JustEat.

The digitalization of services has enabled more people to receive assistance: reducing the time required to book a service. With modern technology, the need for a middle man to book a customer’s order is reduced.

With the long NHS waiting lists caused by the backlog created during the COVID-19 Pandemic, Welzo has taken the opportunity to help digitalize the healthcare industry.

Welzo is the all-in-one digital healthcare platform designed to enable people to take blood tests for various purposes and order prescription medication with ease.

Tests available via Welzo

Welzo is a new online digital healthcare service that is launching in June of 2022. The site is being developed by the HMI Group, under the direction of CEO, Adonis Hakkim. Following the HMI Group’s successful launch of Official Rapid Tests, which offers the UK Government approved PCR Tests and fit to fly COVID tests, it has branched out into Welzo.

The first stage of Welzo will be at home private blood tests.

Customers can order these blood tests from their website. Customers select their desired test. Wait for delivery. Prick their finger. And send the blood sample off to be tested.

There are several blood tests Welzo offers:

  • Cholesterol

High cholesterol increases the chances of a heart attack. But, by testing the cholesterol levels in their blood, customers can then take the necessary action to reduce their cholesterol levels.

  • Cortisol

Cortisol is the human body’s built-in alarm system. Having either too high or too low levels of cortisol can be dangerous. By diagnosing these issues, patients will be able to receive the medical treatment they need.

  • Female Hormones

Feminine hormones such as estrogen and progesterone should be in higher supply in the female body than in the male. But, sometimes, this is not the case. It can slow the development of the female body or prevent a woman from becoming pregnant.
Should a woman have low levels of these hormones, she may choose to take action to increase them.

  • Testosterone

Much like estrogen in women, testosterone should be at relatively high levels in men. Low levels of testosterone can cause various issues, including low sperm count, insufficient muscle build-up, and lower energy levels.

  • Fertility and ED problems

Blood can reveal a lot about the state of people’s fertility. If Welzo’s blood tests show they have issues with their fertility, patients can take steps to solve these issues.

  • Nutrition

Blood can be a strong indicator of the nutritional value of someone’s diet. A blood test can show whether or not a patient is receiving the recommended levels of each nutrient and mineral.

Wellness checks available via Welzo

Another service that Welzo offers is wellness checks.

For example, an assigned doctor can provide patients with a check-up via a physical exam. The exam includes a review of your health history, weight and height measurements, and a bodily examination that involves blood pressure, heart rate, and breathing test.

Welzo also offers mental health screening. Such screenings involve sending off a blood sample so doctors can look for specific biomarkers that indicate whether somebody is suffering from a particular mental health condition.

Prescription Medication via Welzo

Some patients may wish to order their prescription medication discreetly. Welzo enables them to do so using their online pharmacy.

Users of Welzo can work with doctors to find the best prescription medication for their particular condition, and patients can order it online discreetly.
