It is hard to find a place that, in a more iconic way, is symbolic of the Venice Film Festival than the Excelsior Hotel. The prestigious hotel, which overlooks the lagoon, is in fact famous for having hosted, over the years, the big names in cinema and entertainment from all over the world. As well as being chosen as a location for filming some scenes of highly successful movies.
For this edition, number 80, the very Terrace of the Hotel Excelsior has been chosen as the stage for one of the most prestigious events related to the Film Festival, the one organized by Golden Globe and Variety. Prestigious guests are expected on the hotel’s terrace, which truly is a place where one can breathe in the unique charm typical of the city of Venice.
And prominent among the guests this year is the rising star of finance Christopher Aleo, CEO of the Swiss banking group iSwiss, who attended in the company of his beautiful wife, the young Lithuanian successful digital marketing entrepreneur Simona Jakstaite. Aleo was also a guest at the evening dedicated to the opening of the Venice Film Festival, with the screening of the film “Comandante,” starring Pierfrancesco Favino. iSwiss Pay, a group company, was in fact a sponsor of the evening, thanks also to the collaboration with Rai Cinema and the production company Indigo Film.
This is a period marked by important successes for Christopher Aleo: under his leadership, iSwiss is establishing itself as a financial and insurance player of absolute importance in several markets worldwide. In fact, just a few days ago, the Swiss banking group was granted a license to conduct financial business in the United Arab Emirates.
An important milestone, considering that Dubai is now considered one of the capitals of world finance, which further increases the number of financial and insurance licenses held by the Swiss group. In fact, iSwiss has operations in several European countries, from England (with the opening of a new representative office in London) and Switzerland to Romania, Tanzania and even overseas, specifically in Canada. And it is only a short time before iSwiss enters the Italian financial scene as well.
Adding to this success is the increasingly firm position as a leading company in securitization, with a current project that, with its various tranches, has reached the total sum of 9 billion euros.
The speed with which iSwiss has achieved these milestones is striking: we are talking about only 3 years, in which the group’s growth has exceeded every optimistic expectation. And the growth does not seem destined to stop: always driving it is the group’s vision, which aims to revolutionize the world of finance by making services more accessible through openness to new technologies. As is the case with cryptocurrencies, which iSwiss has integrated into its payment systems and current account offerings to meet the needs of increasing customers.
