Freddy Rugga expands his vision in 2021

During the late ’90s, a massive drug epidemic devastated the East Flatbush, previously known as Vanderveer Estates. Many of the drug murders on the meeting of New York Avenue and Brooklyn Avenue went unnoticed and remained in shadow.

During this storm of drugs and murders, a star, Freddy Rugga, came into being. Being black and a fatherless youth was Freddy Rugga’s uneven deck of cards in life. Raised by a woman of strong belief and steel nerves was an advantage to Freddy Ruga, yet the guidance of a father is needed and priceless.

Poverty and racism placed his family in a homeless shelter, and Freddy Rugga’s survival skills were born. Freddy Rugga’s new environment gave him fearless instincts, tireless work ethic, and beast-mode mentality.

Black Rob is one of the most famous rappers from Harlem. Black Rob rose to fame in the early 2000s and created the mega-hit ‘Whoa.’ ‘Whoa’ changed the Hip-Hop landscape in New York forever. Black Rob was scheduled to perform at Freddy Rugga’s shelter. Freddy Rugga performed a passionate freestyle and received a standing ovation.

Black Rob was blown away by Freddy Rugga’s performance as a young emerging artist. After looking into the young eyes of Freddy Rugga, Black Rob told him, “you got something special, Freddy.” A few months later, Freddy Rugga was detained & the dream of Black Rob spoiled.

From the shackles of prison, Freddy Rugga re-entered the music scene with calculated rage and unflinching faith. Ruggatime Volume 1 was his first mixtape released in 2006, and it received critical acclaim and street certified “a new classic.”

Freddie Rugga released his debut album Loyalty & Money in 2016, and it quickly became the soundtrack of street hustlers all over the world. With its hard-hitting and heavy bass line, “LIFE” resonates with anyone on their grind for a better life.

Freddy Rugga’s lyrics in “LIFE” demonstrate his mental perseverance and ability to be deep in thought. “LIFE” mirrors the growth of that same young black male, struggling against everything in front of him, especially being homeless & fighting against all the odds.

Listening to it, it sends chills down your spine because it is a track that demonstrates how effective change is. Despite all hardships, Freddy Rugga never forgot his roots and what fuels his passion: HUNGER. Freddy Rugga spent many nights hungry and hopeless nights visualizing a better tomorrow. In 2021, Freddy Rugga hasn’t missed a meal, and neither will his family.

Freddy is CEO of several multimedia companies and has several projects slated for 2022. Freddy Rugga is a Global Brand Advocate of RADIOPUSHERS and RESULTSANDNOHYPERADIOPUSHERS is a premier branding monetization agency for entrepreneurs.
