Florida-based Entrepreneur Zach Collier Makes Success Look Easy

Published on September 26, 2022

Some people aspire to be entrepreneurs, and others were practically born to follow the path. The latter is certainly the case for Zach Alan Collier, the successful Florida-based entrepreneur who serves as CEO and founder of Resolute Administrative Services. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Zach Collier wasn’t handed wealth, but he was taught the importance of hard work and determination. Today, his typical day begins bright and early, around 4:30 am, when he eats breakfast, hits the gym, and heads to the office. Once he arrives, most of his days are filled with daily operational issues and meetings.

“I’ve always been passionate about being an entrepreneur,” Collier recently shared with us. “I started working for a firm as a staff member that I ultimately ended up acquiring.”

And at just 30 years old, it’s evident that Zach Collier is making a big splash in his industry. Currently organizing his third company, Zach grew his first company, also a healthcare and staffing firm, from a small startup to an organization that brings eight figures in annual revenue.

After accomplishing his goals with the first, he moved on to his second company, which was a national PEO staffing firm focused on blue-collar business; he grew this company from a one-dollar startup into a firm that brings in nine figures of annual revenue. The third company he’s currently focusing on is set to bypass the previous firm’s size within just three years of operation.

Zach Collier has completed over 15 M&A transactions within his industry and is unique in that he is involved in every aspect of his business. His journey has helped him manage more than 20,000 work-site employees and 600 internal employees. With this, Zach Collier has gained notoriety and was appointed by Governor Rick Scott to oversee PEO industry regulations as a board member. This made him the youngest ever appointed to serve the function in the department.

With his latest company, Longship Group, he operates a successful staffing firm overseeing brands that work in industrial and healthcare staffing, HR consulting, and executive search. What’s his focus now? Acquiring operating companies and then consolidating them into one large company with shared assets.

When asked about the “secret sauce” at Resolute, Zach shared, “We offer a strong back office that’s led by professionals with a combined fifty years of industry experience. We also have dedicated teams led by leaders in payroll, accounting, HR, marketing, finance, collections, and IT. This vast array of leadership experience allows us to lead businesses toward achieving stronger growth, as founders can focus on revenue-generating activities. The best part is when joining us; we provide all growth financing needed for the business to grow. Freeing up working capital for them to hire additional support and sales staff to grow their business.”

Considering that Zach Alan Collier is so young but has accomplished so much is an amazing feat. As he continues to acquire companies and merge them under one umbrella, there’s no doubt that his name will keep coming up in the news. This is one entrepreneurial journey we will continue to follow.
