The Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association (FLEOA), the largest nonprofit and nonpartisan professional association for federal law enforcement officers in the United States, wrapped up a significant week of events during the 2025 National Police Week. The organization reiterated its commitment to honoring fallen officers, supporting their survivors, and advancing vital federal law enforcement initiatives.

FLEOA’s National Board participated in the Annual Peace Officers Memorial Service on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol, a heartfelt tribute to the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice. This observance serves as a cornerstone in FLEOA’s mission to “never forget” those who have given their lives in the line of duty.

Throughout the week, FLEOA leadership engaged in meaningful discussions with key public figures and partners within the law enforcement community. Notable meetings included strategy sessions with FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino, focusing on essential federal law enforcement initiatives.

FLEOA President Mathew Silverman also met with Bill Alexander from the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, securing the opportunity to film during the Candlelight Vigil. This partnership emphasizes the shared commitment to honor and remember fallen heroes.

Additionally, FLEOA board members participated in a roundtable discussion with U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi and attended a high-level briefing with Acting Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Todd Lyons. They also collaborated with border czar Tom Homan to produce segments aimed at elevating the visibility of federal officers’ dedication and sacrifices.

The week’s events included FLEOA’s participation in the Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) Blue Honor Gala, a prestigious event that recognizes the unwavering support of law enforcement supporters and organizations. The Gala was an opportunity to honor the families of fallen officers and acknowledge the ongoing legislative and emotional support provided to the law enforcement community.

“These engagements during Police Week reaffirm our mission: to honor our fallen, support their families, and advocate for the brave men and women who wear the badge,” stated Silverman. “We are grateful to our partners, supporters, and every federal officer who stood beside us this week—and every week.”

FLEOA serves over 33,000 registered members within the federal law enforcement community, encompassing more than 60 agencies. The organization maintains a nonpartisan stance, advocating for federal law enforcement through the legislative process without endorsing political parties or candidates.
