The Cannes Film Festival 2023 was an absolutely triumphant edition. Celebrities from cinema, show business and the international jet set took turns on the Croisette for an edition that focused on art-house cinema, culture and innovation.
But the Cannes Film Festival has always also meant luxury and glamour: and the 2023 edition was no exception, with guests and actors wearing unique garments created by the world’s greatest designers. A triumph for photographers and fans, who could admire their idols on the Red Carpet walks that preceded the screenings, events, and award ceremonies.
And an event of such great importance could not miss the one now considered a star of international finance: Christopher Aleo, CEO of iSwiss, present for the second year in a row at the prestigious international kermesse. This time, the financial innovator par excellence attended the premiere of ‘Asteroid City,’ one of the most interesting films of the entire exhibition, which boasts stars of the caliber of Tom Hanks and Scarlett Johansson among its performers.
And Christopher Aleo was not alone on the Red Carpet and at the film screening: a beautiful and mysterious blond lady accompanied him. The film, directed by the master of modern cinema, Wes Anderson, caught the audience’s attention.
After screening the film, Christopher Aleo exchanged a few words with Tom Hanks, the main protagonist: “This is an interesting film not only for its masterful action scenes and landscapes, but especially for the way it examines relationships between people.”
“Strong feelings,” Aleo continues, “such as love and the pain of loss, are perfectly portrayed by the actors.”
But Cannes is not just about cinema, catwalks and famous actors: several events took place during this edition as well, allowing all those working in the entertainment industry to discover the most important news and start collaborative projects. And iSwiss was a sponsor of many of these events.

Among the prize-winners were iSwiss and Aleo, the innovative banking group that saw the fastest growth in the previous year.
Before returning to work at the group’s offices in Dubai, Christopher Aleo emphasized that the Cannes Film Festival represents much more than just a film festival, as it encapsulates the spirit of innovation and the drive for growth and experimentation that is a powerful driver of growth in the artistic and cultural spheres, but also in the financial sphere, as iSwiss’ upward parabola demonstrates.
