Hollywood Film Director Preston Dent Elevates His Brand in 2021

Published on July 01, 2021

Every Sunday night is movie night. It’s just me, God’s human nature, views of Biscayne Bay, Ace of Spades, Aquahydrate, and my Terry cloth Sean John robe. Grinding nineteen hours daily comes at a high price. A person has small windows of personal time, and these moments become sacred.  Sipping on Ace of Spades from my condo balcony and streaming TV uninterrupted is therapeutic.   I constantly reflect on how much my parents sacrificed for me to pursue my dreams.

To me, the definition of Black Excellence is educating and empowering people to their highest potential.  A person can never pay back another person who taught them how to fish.  Knowledge is power.  Tonight, I’m watching ‘Baby Boy,’ and this movie highlights the genius of John Singleton.  Tyrese Gibson and Taraji Henson capture the essence of young, black, and dysfunctional love.
In my opinion, Taraji Henson illuminated her God-given acting gift.  Taraji Henson’s emotional connection to her character uplifted every black female. Taraji Henson taught them how to let go and rebuild. Tyrese taught young black men a paramount quality to possesses: HUMILITY.

Hollywood Director and power-player Preston Dent is a pure reflection of SELF-MADE. Preston Dent’s accomplishments in music, film, and book publishing is nothing short of phenomenal.
