If cult-status Instagram influencer and actor Enzo Zelocchi’s most recent sunny and suave Beverly Hills selfies are anything to go by then we can be optimistic that the star is finally back in Los Angeles after completing multiple European movie projects.
Zelocchi isn’t new to adventures on the other side of the Atlantic, being of American-Italian descent and having spent his youth modelling and filming for TV in glamorous Milan. However, his State-side fans will be excited to know that he’s back in Hollywood as speculation simmers over which projects the actor and producer could take on next.
It’s not Zelocchi’s style to stay idle for long, however, until news is revealed about which production he’ll be starring in or producing next—or indeed both, as was the case for his last movie—there is still a ton to get excited about. A Talented International Cast for Virginia Woolf’s Night & Day
As if spending the twinkling run up to the holidays in a historic English city wasn’t exciting enough, Zelocchi recently reminded us of his capacity to wear more than one professional hat for Tina Gharavi’s bold adaptation of Virginia Woolf’s Night & Day.
Not only has Zelocchi been named as a producer for the project but he also jumped into costume and took on the role of Hubert Basnet, joining an international cast that includes Haley Bennett, Jack Whitehall, Elyas M’Barek, Jennifer Saunders, Lily Allen, Timothy Spall, Misia Butler, Alex Macqueen, Simon Phillips, and Frances Barber.
Based on a 1919 novel that many consider to be Woolf’s funniest, Night & Day is a UK-German production that is set to feature filming locations in both countries. Zelocchi announced his involvement to fans by posting a selfie from the set in BAFTA nominated director Gharavi’s home city of Newcastle.

Behind the Scenes for Freud’s Last Session With Director Matthew Brown
A little earlier in 2024, prior to getting started on production for Night & Day, Zelocchi appeared in London for a private preview screening of another UK project, Freud’s Last Session starring Academy Award winner Anthony Hopkins.
Zelocchi brought his talent to the table as an executive producer for this period drama, which portrays a fictional encounter between psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud, played by Hopkins, and English writer C.S. Lewis, played by Matthew Goode. These two iconic historical figures take viewers on a journey as they discuss the future of mankind and the existence of God.
While Zelocchi doesn’t appear in front of the camera for Freud’s Last Session, would-be-viewers can currently find the movie on Netflix, Prime Video, and AppleTV. As for when you will be able to catch some new Enzo magic on the big screen, WestEnd Films are yet to announce the release date for Virginia Woolf’s Night & Day but all signs indicate that it should be hitting cinemas and streaming services later in 2025.
