However, these conventional products may pose various dangers. According to a survey by the Environmental Working Group (EWG), an alarming number of women, 4.3 million in total, are exposed daily to personal care product ingredients that are harmful to reproductive and developmental health. Green-Beauty Co would like to solve this problem by providing minimalistic beauty products that contain sustainable/upcycled ingredients and a minimum of 10 ingredients products while aligning the values of the time-honored wisdom of Ayurveda.

When Green-Beauty Co-founder Ruchita decided to re-launched her brand in August 2023 after her book on Sustainable Beauty was published through Simon and Schuster/Skyhorse Publishing, she came up with the most practical and non-toxic three skincare products that every woman needs in their day-to-day life. She interviewed women during her farmers markets for last one and half years and came up with Glow Vitamin C serum (contains only eight ingredients – along with Rice Bran Oil which has upcycled ingredients), Supercharge Vitamin A serum (contains only six ingredients – along with Apricot Kernel Oil which is again upcycled ingredients) and Neem Body & Face Soap (contains nine ingredients – and made out of Olive Pomace Oil (upcycled from Olive Oil industry)).
