Cargill is using its advantageous position in the supply chain to lead the way with its award-winning regenerative agriculture initiative in Europe. This program will provide financial incentives for farmers in Germany, Poland, Romania, and France to implement climate-friendly farming methods.
Cargill RegenConnectTM, which has been successful in North America for two years, is expanding its program to include nine new states: North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Colorado, Mississippi, Alabama, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Texas. This expansion will bring the total number of states to 24. The program will now offer higher payments to U.S. farmers, cover more commodities (including cotton), and make it easier for farmers to enroll through their mobile devices.

Cargill RegenConnectTM is an optional program for farmers that promotes regenerative agriculture through market-based incentives. By choosing from a variety of practices that suit their unique growing conditions, farmers can improve soil health and reduce carbon emissions from the agriculture supply chain. These practices include planting cover crops and using reduced- or no-till farming, which help to store carbon in the soil and improve water quality. The program offers technical support and resources to ensure success, as well as an environmental market opportunity for participants to connect with major companies seeking to reduce their environmental impact and support regenerative agriculture.
