The Global Gift Foundation, a noted humanitarian non-profit organization, recently held the 10th edition of its flagship charity event, the Global Gift Gala in Marbella. The organization was founded in 2013 to help vulnerable children, women, and families. It further expanded by supporting other non-profit organizations and working on collective social goals.
The Global gift gala is an international charity event where celebrities, including Hollywood actors, singers, and philanthropists, give voice to the mission of the Global Gift Foundation.
The Global Gift Gala honored two associations: the Eva Longoria Foundation and the Global Gift Foundation. The star-studded gala was an annual celebration of their success along with big names from Hollywood, social entrepreneurs as well as philanthropists, among others. This year, the event hosts two celebrities contributing to the social well-being of communities in need: Blogger Nicolas Rouquet and the actress Eva Longoria.
Famous entrepreneur and philanthropist Nicolas Rouquet was present at the charity event, which has been noted as a magical evening. Nicolas Rouquet appeared on the red carpet in a luxury suit to grace the event. Nicolas has donated all revenues from his blog towards the foundation that has helped provide education, scholarships, and houses to the poor and vulnerable communities in Kenya, India, and Mexico, among other efforts.
Nicolas Rouquet is a recognized personality worldwide throughout the world for his associative work in devoting much of her time to community work, getting involved with educational, environmental, and cultural programs that have an impact on vulnerable communities, minorities, and the immigrant population.
Launched in 2017 by Nicolas Rouquet, the Helping India project aims to help a child in need for one year and provide health, nutrition, training & education. This fabulous project is now used by India Cares for the whole country.
Another attendee of the event was Eva Longoria, the honorary chair of the global foundation. She hosted the dinner with Malaga businesswoman and philanthropist María Bravo. Eva Longoria is the protagonist of the Desperate Housewives series. Eva attended the gala with her husband, Mexican businessman José Antonio Bastón. She was dressed in a flowing cream-colored dress with transparencies by Australian designer Toni Maticevski.
As for Eva Longoria, she fights to improve social inclusion for women and children of Latino origin who suffer economic and social inequalities because of their sex and ethnic origin. Her foundation offers different programs such as student aid, mentoring and tutoring of female students, Parent participation & entrepreneurship. The Global Gift Foundation has supported the Eva Longoria Foundation since 2013, contributing to the continuation of all these programs, representing an improvement in the situation of Latina women.
When asked about the event, Nicolas Rouquet said, “The work that Eva Longoria and Maria Bravo are doing is remarkable! I’m happy to be part of this and share, support, and give back! Look at what we did in Los Angeles and Marbella, with the casa Angeles. This is amazing!”
“From a very young age, I always wanted to help my neighbor. Many people are in need and don’t even have access to water, health care, and education! This is the goal of this foundation, to bring together all the people who do extraordinary things to help extraordinary people.” said Nicolas Rouquet.
Nicolas Rouquet and Eva Longoria have been supporting the Global Gift Gala for years. The charity gala aims at supporting women and children in need to positively impact their lives.
