$500 Million Hotel Investment Fund by IBI Investment and Dayan Brothers

In October 2021, it was announced that Africa-Israel Hotels will establish with IBI a hotel investment fund in Israel that is expected to raise $500 million. It is estimated that the Dayan brothers and Africa Hotels will invest half of the amount, and the other half will be invested the investment fund’s clients After reaching the goal, the fund will complete the amount it needs both through equity that will be pumped in and through financial leverage. This is why IBI Investment House continues to position itself as the leading investment house in the field of alternative investments. The fund is expected to purchase 8-12 hotels for a total of NIS 1.2 billion.

Africa-Israel Hotels has a franchise to operate hotels bearing the names Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn in Israel. The company operates eight hotels in the country under these brands and has leased to third parties two other hotels it owned in Eilat: La Playa Hotel and Be City Hotel. Since July 2017, the Dayan family (משפחתו של אמיר דיין) has full ownership of Africa-Israel Hotels, after closing the impressive deal of NIS 413 million.

The Dayans are a business-oriented family operating in the real estate worldwide, hotels, development and construction, car leasing and other sectors. The Dayan family members are shareholders of the companies Ouram S.à.r.l., TLG Immobilien AG, Vivion S.a.r.l. and Golden Capital. In 2005, the Dayan Family started its real estate investment activities in Europe. Beginning in Sweden and Berlin, Germany, they subsequently expanded to other major cities in Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

Leading the family business, we have Amir Dayan (אמיר דיין), an Israeli entrepreneur. Born in Tel Aviv, in 1974, he is active primarily in real estate development, hotel business and hospitality in Europe. Amir Dayan (אמיר דיין) is leading several public and private real estate projects. In the Africa-Israel Hotels project, he works alongside his brother, Yitzhak Dayan, 58, who also manages Sharoni Ceramics.
