2000Archives Brings K-Fashion to Shanghai With Exclusive ENG Pop-Up

Published on April 22, 2025

Korean fashion label 2000Archives has launched its first Shanghai pop-up store in partnership with the local ENG store, marking another milestone in the brand’s continued expansion into the global fashion market.

The pop-up features an exclusive capsule collection that is available only at the Shanghai location. On opening day, the event attracted a wide audience of fashion enthusiasts, creatives, and industry insiders, with several key items selling out within hours.

For this Shanghai capsule, 2000Archives worked closely with Angel, a Malaysian girl group DOLLA member, who contributed to the mood board and creative direction. Her involvement introduced cross-cultural elements that infused the collection with a distinctive blend of Korean streetwear with Southeast Asian pop influences.

An official after-party followed the store launch, hosted at a local venue in collaboration with MAC Cosmetics. The event was designed to reflect 2000Archives’ broader lifestyle branding, offering an immersive setting where fashion, music, and beauty converged.

2000Archives has rapidly emerged as one of Korea’s most closely watched fashion brands, gaining recognition for its bold yet wearable silhouettes, limited-edition drops, and creative collaborations. The brand previously partnered with high-profile artists such as BIBI, and continues to build international momentum.

Seen on global stars like SZA, who wore the brand’s signature NO.2 Denim Heeled Boots. As well worn by K-pop icons including BLACKPINK’s Jennie, members of LE SSERAFIM, and AESPA’s Karina, 2000Archives has become a go-to label for artists known for their boundary-pushing style. Many of these figures frequently request custom pieces from the brand, drawn to its directional silhouettes and bold design language. Most recently, 2000Archives created exclusive looks for LE SSERAFIM’s latest music video, further cementing its role as a rising force in the global stage-wear and performance fashion space.

The Shanghai pop-up will run through April 29 at ENG, featuring pieces exclusive to this location. With strong first-day turnout and limited inventory, the activation further signals 2000Archives’ growing influence among Gen Z and millennial audiences in China and beyond.
