State and Federal Communications, Inc., a government compliance and consulting firm, has released its 2025 Corporate Social Responsibility review, detailing a year of charitable giving, community engagement, and leadership within the government affairs sector.

The Akron, Ohio-based company reported contributing more than $133,000 in corporate philanthropy during 2025, supporting organizations focused on food security, literacy, youth development, health initiatives, and neighborhood revitalization. The annual review emphasizes the company’s strategy of combining financial support with hands-on volunteer service to strengthen local communities.

Employees participated in numerous volunteer activities throughout the year, including United Way Day of Action events, mentoring programs, and service projects with regional partners such as Girl Scouts of Northeast Ohio and the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank’s Harvest for Hunger campaign.

President and CEO Elizabeth Bartz said the company’s community involvement reflects its core values and long-term commitment to partnership-driven impact. She was recognized in 2025 with the ATHENA Akron Leadership Award and the Brennan Leadership Award from United Way of Summit and Medina, underscoring the firm’s visibility in civic leadership.

Beyond local initiatives, the company continued to support national organizations that promote governance, education, and leadership in public affairs. These included the National Governors Association, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and the National Conference of State Legislatures, among others.

State and Federal Communications also expanded diversity and inclusion efforts by participating in national forums, such as the Women in Government Relations DEI Summit in Washington, D.C., highlighting the firm’s role in shaping inclusive practices within the government relations industry.

Founded more than 3 decades ago, the company provides compliance solutions for lobbying, campaign finance, and procurement regulations to corporations, trade associations, law firms, and government affairs organizations. Its services include regulatory guidebooks and consulting programs designed to help clients navigate complex reporting requirements at the federal, state, and local levels.

Industry observers note that corporate social responsibility reporting has become increasingly important for firms operating in regulatory and public affairs sectors, where reputation and stakeholder trust play a critical role in long term growth.

By emphasizing philanthropy, volunteerism, and governance partnerships, the company’s latest review reflects a broader trend among professional services firms to integrate community impact into their business strategies while reinforcing their leadership presence in their respective industries.
